About Me
My name is Javier Montalvo and I am currently dual majoring in Sociology and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. I am passionate about LGBTQ+ rights, as well as the rights of all of those whom are oppressed in our current political and cultural climate.
I was born to a Puerto Rican mother and Dominican father in Chattanooga, TN. As a young boy, my family relocated to Puerto Rico, where I lived for the vast majority of my childhood, later relocating for a couple of years to the Dominican Republic before landing in the States once again in 2010. In addition to having a strong likeness to humans rights, I am extremely passionate about theater and films. I thoroughly enjoy discussing critically acclaimed works of art, which I will be able to review and talk about through this medium. |
